Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), which manages and operates King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), has signed a strategic partnership contract with Master Works company to implement the Turnaround Management System project. This comes as part of RAC’s efforts to enhance the digital transformation of its operations in line with the National Aviation Strategies and Saudi Vision 2030.
The partnership was signed by the Riyadh Airports CEO, Mr. Mosad Aldaood, and Master Works chairman, Mr. Othman Alhokail. It aims to ensure the continuity of RAC’s efforts to enable advanced technologies to manage operations at KKIA. This will be done using the “Baseer AI platform,” which is a forward-thinking computer vision platform that employs artificial intelligence technology, machine learning, and video analysis to measure performance indicators and monitor different ground operations. This will have a positive impact on the overall airport operational results, contribute to raising the safety level on the airfield, and improve aircraft turnaround processes by digitalizing and monitoring all the aircraft ground events.
