In a new achievement to be added to the national record of successes in the field of artificial intelligence, and following Stanford University's announcement of the Kingdom's global progress in the 2025 Artificial Intelligence Index, we are pleased to announce today, from the Spanish capital, Madrid, on the sidelines of the Passenger Terminal EXPO&CONFERENCE, the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding between Cluster 2 and Master Works.
The signing ceremony was presided over by Eng. Ali Masrahi, the CEO of Cluster 2, and Eng. Mohammed Own, the CEO of Master Works. The memorandum pertains to the utilization of artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies to augment operational efficiency, facilitate decision-making processes, and fortify safety protocols at the Kingdom’s airports.
The plan includes launching a pilot project for the "Baseer" platform and installing advanced cameras on inspection vehicles to detect foreign objects. It will also organize joint workshops between the two parties to raise technical awareness and build an operational culture. As part of its drive towards comprehensive digital transformation, a strategic roadmap for digital transformation will be developed to transform pilot models into scaled-up operational solutions.
This collaboration aligns with the Kingdom Vision 2030, which aims to develop a smart and sustainable air transport infrastructure. It reflects the collective commitment of the public and private sectors to fostering national innovation and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a leading hub for advanced technologies in the aviation industry.
